Persona in the misty woods

'It must have been a dry branch you stepped on. Nothing else could have made such a loud crack. At the sudden noise, the figure ahead of you abruptly halted and twisted around. There was no time to hide, the movement was so quick. You freeze for a moment, your mind suddenly dredging up thoughts about the trickery and distrustfullness of creatures like the fay. The bright white eyes with amethyst sclera piercing into you did not help your concerning thoughts. The silence between you stretches for what seems like miles. Then at last the strange figure offers a hesitant, nervous smile, accompanied by a soft "Hi..."'

I'm known in most internet circles as Crystallink, Crystal, and Dia! I'm a freelance illustrator/character artist who has until now been frustrated about being unable to find a way to make a fully customized website. My last attempt was with Squarespace, which was both ridiculously expensive, and was far more useful as a shop than a blog. Now that I've found Neocities, I'm having far more fun with creating my site from the ground up--not only for art, but to share some thoughts on my faith that I hope will touch other's lives.

About My Persona

My persona character is 1 foot tall inksprite (as if my website title didn't hint at that) who can shapeshift, and shares the same name/s as me. Her list of items includes a piece of cloth that she called her 'piece of sky', which can morph into any pieces of clothing, as well as display any sky colors or patterns. It also serves as her pocket dimension for her other items. Her other most powerful item is the Gloaming Moth, a moth made of metal alloy, gems, and a special locket-like orb made of what's called giess. It can transform into different melee weapons, and anything placed in the locket can manifest as part of the blade. Multiple items or energy cores can be placed in the locket to combine different abilities, but it's a matter of mixing and matching to figure out what actually works or not. Besides all that, not much is known about her at all. She's simply a traveler of dimensionsWho prefers to shift into the local denizen race to blend in.

Declaration of Faith

I believe Jesus is the only way to Heaven and God. (John 14:6, 1 John 1:9)

I believe humanity is born sinners, and desperately need Jesus to avoid Hell. (Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23)

I believe God is both a loving God and a just God. (Acts 17:31, Luke 18:7, Psalms 36:7, Psalms 109:26, Romans 5:8)

I believe that God created humans as male and female, and marriage is only between a man and a woman, and anything outside of this is sin. (Genesis 1:27, Mark 10:6-7, Romans 1:26-27,1 Corinthians 6:9,1 Corinthians 6:9, Leviticus 20:13)
